What's up, internet doom scrollers? All anime fans are familiar with the isekai genre of anime. These are shows that center around a character that suddenly finds themselves in a new fantasy world or in a parallel reality. The genre is understandably incredibly popular and consequently quite over-saturated with generic characters and tropes and fan service. However, what if it happened to you? What if you woke up one day in the world of an anime that you are familiar with? Netizen anime fans answer this very question in the engaging thread below, detailing what their first move would be if they found themselves in the world of Naruto.

Naruto was one of my very first animes. As a young artist, I used to draw my own Mary Sue OCs, clad in fishnet (apparently, it is meant to be chain mail) and bandages. I also dabbled in fan fiction, so I do have my own game plan if I ever find myself in Konohagakure. First thing's first, I'd try to figure out if I have any chance of controlling my chakra enough to become even an average shinobi, or if I have to go the Rock Lee route.
